Door Cores

Bridgman IBC are fully accredited under the Exova BM Trada Q Mark Scheme. We can utilise the full range of door cores available to ensure that your specification and certification requirements are achieved.

Our extensive range includes very dense GDC Cores, robust solid laminated timber cores and our own traditionally built flax stile and rail core.

All certification requirements are covered.

GDC

A multiuse versatile core that covers fire requirements from FD30s to FD120s as well as acoustics up to 38dB.

Flax Style and Rail

The traditional way of manufacturing a door dating back to very early door manufacturing. 65mm Internal timber stiles and rails allow for excellent ironmongery provision. Fire ratings up to FD60s and acoustics up to 41dB.

Solid Laminated Timber

The most robust of door cores, made of solid light weight tri-laminate three-layer core manufactured from a single hardwood species to provide a quality door blank. Fire ratings up to FD60s and acoustics up to 35dB. Commonly found in high usage areas, where there is a complex ironmongery or for specific health markets where doors come under frequent demand from users.
